Citizens of Carolina Beach:

I am a candidate for Town Council in our beautiful beach town for several reasons. The Council is fortunate to have small business owners and a real estate developer and a broker. We need to round this group out with someone with a different voice. I hope to be that voice, someone who speaks for the ordinary citizen who enjoys immensely his life in our town and wants to contribute his skills and talents in its service.

As a retired computer project manager, I have delt with budget restrictions; personal recruitment; project planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of numerous large-scale projects. As a leader of these efforts, I learned that cohesion is central to success. People must work together, using each person's talents for the betterment of the community. I hope to be a Council member who can contribute significantly to this goal.
